D&S Services is an Independent Service Provider for Fire Fighter Bunker Gear Located in Fayetteville,NC. We are an ISP verified by Intertek, completed the ISP program by Honeywell and follow all NFPA repair guidelines. As a local PPE Firefighter Gear repair company we can provide a much-needed service to our local, state and ALL Fire Fighting personnel.
Until now repairs required gear to be shipped out for repair to a certified ISP provider as there was no service available locally. This added shipping cost as well as long turnaround time, loss of gear in service, and because of this there are times repairs are put on hold.
As a small local company, we can offer a quick turn around time, competitive pricing, quality repairs and professional services. Pick up and drop off can be arranged on a as need or weekly basis.
We offer a full line of repairs.
Our Process:
• When a set of gear comes to our facility it is washed if necessary, a light inspection is performed and then an estimate is written.
• The estimate is then emailed for approval. Once approved repairs will be performed.
• Rebuilding frayed and worn cuffs.
• Replace zippers, snaps, hooks and D rings.
• Velcro closures at pockets, main closures,collars,name tag, DRD closures, Thermal liner to Outer shell openings and more.
• Patch knees, seams, tears and pockets.
• Repair in Thermal liners and Moisture barriers.
• Advance inspections with Hydrostat testing available.
All gear is returned with a worked performed sheet for your inventory and record keeping.
All records are kept on file electronically for easy reference.
We have worked with several local Fire Departments and will provide references as to our work performance and service.
